ESG Report Search, a RAG app that answers questions about S&P 1500 sustainability reports and cites the report page behind each fact, built with Python, FastAPI, Postgres + pgvector and React by Rutwik PatelDATA SCIENCE

ESG Report Search

A personal project that rebuilds my USC Marshall research pipeline: ask S&P 1500 sustainability reports a question and get an answer citing the exact page each fact came from. Hybrid keyword and vector search with a reranker runs over 289 reports (27,928 passages), and a checker removes any citation the model makes up before the answer is shown. Retrieval is measured against 50 hand-labelled questions.

After you apply for a job, finds the founder, the engineering lead and the recruiter at the company, has Claude write each of them an email grounded in real company facts, tailors your résumé to the job, and lands everything as Gmail drafts. Follows up until someone replies and never emails the same person twice.

My own music app at music.rutwik.dev. Curated Hindi, Gujarati and Indian hip-hop collections that rotate with the hour in India, a queue you can reorder, and playlists built a song at a time or saved from YouTube. It hosts no audio: every song plays through YouTube, so each play counts for the artist. Read-only for visitors.
